FYI, the deficit when GW left office was $1.2 trillion, compared to a $200 billion dollar surplus when he took office, brought about by the financial institution failure under his management leadership. It is the same go forward deficit we now have. You need to get your numbers correct before shooting off your mouth. By the way the national debit was $3 trillion when your party took office in 2001 and was over $8 trillion when you left in 2008. Stock market during the same period was flat. So much for our retirement funds under the financially astute Repubs. Compare that to Bill Clinton where we had a nearly 300 percent increase in the stock market and no deficits.
